Although it is a little odd that manga (or Japanese comics) magazine Shonen Jump was the first to announce it (more
proof that the worlds of anime, games, and manga are closer than you may think), Namco is officially developing two RPGs for
GameCube. As some already know, the first is Tales of Symphonia (announced at the end of last year). The just recently announced
game, however, is called Baten Kaitos. Baten Kaitos is a fantasy RPG whose world is made up of a bunch of floating continents
(we're guessing sort of like the islands in Skies of Arcadia). We'll keep you updated as more details become available.
