Review
Rare's excellent team presents another great game for the Nintendo 64. Jet Force Gemini is a great
action adventure game in which you explore many planets in space trying to defeat Mizar and his evil drones. You are the last
two members of the Jet Force team alive. Known as team Gemini, you are a set of twins, one a boy, the other a girl. They
are Juno and Vela. Their loyal and trusty dog Lupus travels with you. The twins fight in the memory of their parents
who were killed in a space battle when they were young. The evil Mizar and his drones have killed countless members of the
Jet Force team and taken capture of many planets. Bear-like creatures called Tribals have been enslaved by the thousands.
It's up to the Gemini team and Lupus to save the universe navigating large planets and killing hundreds of bad guys that get
in your way. You'll have everything from pistols to machine guns, homing missles, tri-rocket launchers, flame throwers, shurikens,
cluster bombs and more. The multiplayer mode is fun and many things for it can be unlocked in the single
player mode (which has six save files). As you progress through the game you'll unlock the co-op mode where
a buddy can help you out and save your ass in difficult areas of your game. My friends love playing me in this game whether
we're battleing or taking on drones in co-op. The enemey A.I. is awesome too. The monsters are so incredibly
realistic in responding to the current surroundings. They are really smart but they can be tricked. The graphics are
sweet and detailed and the music is outstanding. It's action music goes perfect with each level
or area. The sound effects are also great. This game is also a little gory. There is a nice
amount of blood and when you shoot a drone in the head his head will fly off. Shoot them with a rocket and their body parts
will fly all the over the place and you'll hear the blood splattering.
This is a perfect game where everything is perfected. I just wish they'd make a
sequel. This is a must buy!
